Jane's Harmony by Ryan Winfield (Jane's Melody Book 2)

This is a review of Jane's Harmony by Ryan Winfield.

This story starts out with Jane selling her house and going to Austin to look for Caleb. Jane realises how fragile life is so she wants to start over with Caleb. She looks all over for Caleb and she does find him. Jane moves in with Caleb. Caleb is working at a beer distribution plant and plays shows evenings and weekends hoping to get a big break. Like any couple they have their ups and downs.

Jane enters Caleb into a music contest similar to American Idol. Initially Caleb was rejected and didn't make the cut but due to a technicality a spot becomes available and it is offered to Caleb. He accepts and goes on to compete in the competition This is the first time Jane and Caleb have been apart for a significant length of time as Caleb is in L.A. and she is in Austin. Jane begins to feel trapped and depressed and her finances are dwindling rapidly. Jane has a close call with a meter maid and decides to try to become a meter maid. Caleb begins to become disillusioned with the life of a reality television star and longs to return home to Austin and Jane. Jane has a family emergency and must return to Seattle to sort things out but it places her new job in jeopardy. Once Jane returns to Austin she makes a friend and bonds with her. When Caleb returns to Austin, Jane and Caleb decide that they can't live without each other.  Jane and Caleb find out that they are going to be parents. They have a beautiful little girl. They also get married. Caleb ends up making music his career

I absolutely loved this book. It totally blew me away. I felt like I was right there with Jane and Caleb experiencing everything they did. I laughed and cried with them. At times I felt like my heart was breaking with them. I'm very happy that Jane and Caleb got their happy ending. I will highly recommend this book to anyone. I really hope to read more about Jane and Caleb.
