Bear Prince by Emma Alisyn & Danae Ashe

This is my review of the title Bear Prince by Emma Alisyn and Danae Ashe.  This is the story of Andrei and Hannah. Andrei is a bear shifter and also a prince of a country called  Casakraine where the royal family are bear shifters. Andrei is next in line to become the ruler or Casakraine.  Hannah is am American ballerina. She is also from an Amish type community that doesn't use technology and uses the horse and buggy as their primary mode of transportation. Hannah is very passionate about dance and has left home to obtain a college education and also attempt to become a ballerina.

Andrei first notices Hannah as she is dancing in the street for money. He wants her contact information so he follows her and ends up saving her from the creepy manager of the apartment complex where she lives. Andrei suffers from migraine headaches which are explained as being a side effect of being a shifter. He had the beginnings of a migraine already and ends up with a full blown migraine in part because of his fight with the manager of the apartment complex while he is defending Hannah's honor. Hannah feels responsible for him so she lets him sleep on her couch for a couple of days.  The two end up spending lots of time together because Andrei is hiding from his guards and doesn't want to leave. He essentially moves in with Hannah. His bear ends up recognizing Hannah as his mate. Andrei does return to his country as the request of his mother, the queen. The queen ends up putting Andrei under house arrest. Andre becomes livid because he can't get to his mate.  Eventually Hannah goes to Andrei's country after the queen fetches her. She has big news to  share with Andrei. She stays for a little and slowly starts settling into her new life until an unexpected event makes her realize she misses home. Hannah flees the country and returns home to her parents without telling anyone. Andrei follows her and they are reunited and delivers some stunning news that I never expected.  I felt that their were a couple of unresolved issues in this book but can only hope that they are resolved in a future book.

I received a free copy of this book from Romance ARCade in exchange for an honest review.
