Reason for no recent posts

Lately my posts have been few and far between. I must apologize for that. About 1 month ago I had major surgery because I had a cancer scare and had to have half of one of my kidneys removed due to a rather large mass that was discovered in one of my kidneys. Thankfully, the pathology report came back all clear and no cancer was found. The mass turned out to be a complex partially solid and partially fluid filled cyst. My energy levels were very low leading up to the surgery and after the surgery and are very slowly improving. I was also very heavily sedated from extremely strong doses of pain killers for the first two weeks or so following surgery. Within 3 weeks after the surgery I developed a nasty kidney infection despite having been on antibiotcs pre-op for a week and a half and post-op IV antibiotcs for 4 days and oral antibiotics for a week and a half after discharge from the hospital. I am now on a brand new course of antibiotics and am finally feeling better and my pain levels are finally easing up. This means that now I can start reading again(since I am off the heavy duty painkillers) and will be able to get reviews back up again. I do have several reviews that will be coming your way soon.
