Weight Watchers: The Best Proven Tips, Tricks & Recipes To Simple Start, Losing Weight And Feeling Great! by Amalia Evans

This is a review of  Weight Watchers: The Best Proven Tips, Tricks & Recipes To Simple Start, Losing Weight And Feeling Great! by Amalia Evans.

This book tells a little about Weight Watchers. It breifly discusses a few points about the Weight Watchers program. There are a few tips that are offered where if you follow the tips you may have a chance at losing some weight but don't hold your breath on that one. There are a few recipes in here that don't seem too overly complicated that someone with beginner level kitchen skills should be able to make. The Weight Watchers point system is mentioned along with the points for certain recipes but the point system is not really explained.

My recommendation:
This book is not very comprehensive and is very short. It feels incomplete and there is lots of missing information that if added could make the book a better resource for those trying to lose weight.

Proofreading Rating:
There are misspelled words and a few words are missing entirely.

Gastric Sleeve Weight Loss Surgery: Your Complete Guide to Losing Weight with Bariatric Surgery by Jim Hunter

This is a review of Gastric Sleeve Weight Loss Surgery: Your Complete Guide to Losing Weight with Bariatric Surgery  by Jim Hunter.

This book discusses Gastric Sleeve Surgery in detail. As a patient that has had a Gastric Sleeve weight loss surgery, I picked up this book in hopes of learning something new about life after having the sleeve. When I started reading this book I was disappointed as it tells more about the process leading up to the surgery and then briefly discusses the actual surgery and recovery. It doesn't really give many tips about life after Gastric Sleeve surgery. There are a few recipes included that might be good for a beginner.

My recommendation:
There are much better books about the Gastric Sleeve and weight loss surgery in general than this. Skip this one and pick up one of the better books available on weight loss surgery.

Update

Hi everyone! I know it has been several months since I have updated this blog but I have been out of commission for a while due to having my fourth spinal surgery. I am doing better now and am going to work on updating more frequently and reading as many books as possible. I have set a personal goal to read a minimum of 250 books in 2017. I won't be posting reviews for every book but I hope to bring you quite a few new posts this year.

Thanks for reading!~~Mary
